Inspiration

Jesus is the vine that can not be done without.

Continue to remain in him.

Bible verse: John 15:5- “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.” (NIV)

The above scripture is metaphorical. He’s establishing a relationship with His followers using Himself as the vine and His followers being the branches.
The key things we can learn from this scripture include:

1. The only source of life in this world is Jesus Christ. Just as a vine provides sap and nutrients to its branches, Jesus provides spiritual sustenance to those who follow Him.
2. When you accept Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour, you automatically become a follower of Jesus. All followers of Jesus are the branches that are connected to Him, the vine. This connection is vital for their spiritual growth and productivity.
3. When we remain in Jesus and He in us, we will produce spiritual fruit, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control, according to Galatians 5:22-23). The fruits that we will bear are natural results of our connection to Jesus, the vine.
4. Without Him, we are unable to produce spiritual fruit or accomplish anything of lasting value.
5. We need Jesus to live through us and empower us to live a fruitful and effective Christian life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for this wonderful Word today. It’s my humble prayer that You will increase my hunger and thirst for You always. Help me to remain continually in You so that I can bear the fruits that will be pleasing in thy sight. This is my humble prayer in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen
